HISTORY
Kuhlmann (formerly RWK) is a family owned business, founded in 1923 by brothers Robert & Wilhem Kuhlmann as a joinery company. Walter Kuhlmann took over the business in 1945 and through the 60's and 70's, steered the business more towards the manufacture of fitted kitchens.
In 2012, RWK becomes known simply as Kuhlmann and in 2019, with sales still rising, production moves from Enger to Löhne, where the factory space has doubled and exhibition area tripled in size. From the new facility in Löhne, Kuhlmann continues to grow, introducing new concepts, finishes and solutions to the expanding customer base, year on year.
MATERIALS
With hundreds of door finishes spanning over 30 ranges, there is a Kuhlmann kitchen to suit every home. This includes modern and traditional offerings in matt and gloss variants, structured wood grains and specialist embossed finishes, anti-fingerprint HPL materials, matt lacquered shaker style doors and real wood veneers, to name but a few.
These are paired with rigid-built German cabinetry including soft-close Blum hinges and Tandem runners as standard, with quality always being paramount.
SPECIAL FEATURES
Kuhlmann offer a host of unique features and clever solutions, perfect for incorporating into showroom displays to highlight these kitchens with a difference.
Door and drawer units with 11 degree angled fronts, as well as the innovative multi-level, 3-way opening drawer system, are just two of these. Handleless systems utilising panel material allow for more design flair and with 762mm high base units and 362mm deep wall units as standard, maximum storage is achieved.

The option to powder coat handles in a standard or special colour exists, as does the ‘FREE’ handle range, which includes a variety of interesting options.
