HISTORY

Kuhlmann (formerly RWK) was founded in 1923 by brothers Robert & Wilhem Kuhlmann as a joinery company. Walter Kuhlmann took over in 1945 and through the 60's and 70's, steered the business more towards the manufacture of fitted kitchens.

2012 saw RWK become simply Kuhlmann, with sales still rising and a factory move to Löhne, for increased production and exhibition space.

In early 2025, Kuhlmann joined the Brigitte family. This exciting integration provides new and exciting opportunities for restructure and growth. With an all-new specification and wider range of finishes than ever, the brand continues to innovate.

MATERIALS

With hundreds of door finishes spanning over 25 ranges, there is a Kuhlmann kitchen to suit every home. This includes modern and traditional offerings in matt and gloss variants, structured wood grains and specialist embossed finishes, anti-fingerprint HPL materials, matt lacquered shaker style doors and real wood veneers, to name but a few.

These are paired with rigid-built German cabinetry including soft-close hinges and Blum Legrabox as standard, with a real focus on quality and value.
